Our Quality
We believe in solid hardwood and in our local craftsman. We source our furniture from Pennsylvania, and never carry a product made in another country. We represent many small shops that specialize in custom bench made furniture that will stand the test of time. We define our quality as a 3 point definition.
Craftsmanship
A craftsman that takes pride in his or her work and is willing to back that with a signature. Our craftsmen come from the communities of Pennsylvania and Ohio, and are among the most talented in the world.
Hardwood
We believe in using nature’s finest sustainable resources, hardwood grown in the forests of Pennsylvania and New York. We provide furniture from shops that hand select the wood from FAS grade, the highest quality wood available. Our craftsmen also take care to use wood from forests that are harvested in a sustainable matter.
Finish
The premium grade conversion varnish that is applied to all of our furniture is hard, tough, and resistant to common household chemicals. This protective finish resists the absorption of liquids left on furniture surfaces and helps to eliminate watermarks. It is also environmentally friendly and low HAPS.
