Product & Craftsmanship

Yes. Every piece is handcrafted to order by skilled Amish woodworkers in small, independent shops — most right here in Lancaster County, PA. Because each piece is made to order, you get a level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that mass-produced furniture can't match.

Solid American hardwoods — oak, cherry, maple, brown maple, elm, walnut, hickory, and quartersawn white oak, depending on the piece. No veneers or particle board. On most pieces you can choose the wood species that fits your style and budget.

Absolutely — that's the heart of what we do. Most pieces let you choose the wood species, stain or paint color, size, hardware, and fabric or leather where applicable. Use the options on any product page to build your piece, or contact us if you'd like something you don't see.

We photograph our furniture carefully, but screens vary and wood grain takes stain differently from board to board. If an exact match matters, we recommend ordering stain samples before you order — or visit our showroom to see finishes in person.

Dust regularly with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid silicone-based polishes. Keep furniture out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, and avoid extreme humidity swings — solid wood naturally expands and contracts with the seasons. With basic care, your furniture will last for generations.

Yes — our builders stand behind their work. Warranty terms vary by woodshop (for example, the Craftsman Collection carries a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects on wooden components). See the warranty page for your furniture's brand, or ask us and we'll point you to the details.

Ordering, Lead Times & Payment

Since your furniture is built to order, most pieces take roughly 3–4 months from order to delivery, depending on the woodshop, your options, and your location. Every product page shows a current estimated delivery date, and we'll keep you posted as your piece nears completion. In-stock and Quick Ship items move much faster.

No — most online orders are placed with a 50% deposit at checkout. The remaining balance is due before your furniture ships, and we'll reach out with an easy way to pay it online when your piece is nearing completion.

Yes, through Synchrony Home — deferred-interest plans from 6 to 24 months depending on order size (for those who qualify). See our financing page to estimate a payment or pre-qualify online.

You may cancel for a full refund within 72 hours of placing your order. After that, requests are reviewed individually — once your woodshop has sourced materials or begun building, we generally can't accept cancellations, and approved late cancellations carry a 25% restocking fee. Contact us as soon as possible if something needs to change.

Delivery & Pickup

We deliver nationwide (lower 48). Standard delivery is free — to your curbside or front door. Premium White-Glove service brings your furniture inside, places it exactly where you want it, and handles assembly (starting at $195 East Coast, $495 Midwest & West Coast). Once your furniture is complete, the delivery company contacts you directly to schedule a day and time window. See how our nationwide delivery works.

Measure your doorways, hallways, and any tight staircases to make sure your new furniture will fit, clear the space where it's going (our teams don't remove old furniture), and keep pets in a separate room during delivery.

Yes — you're welcome to pick up your order at our Gordonville, PA showroom. We'll let you know as soon as your furniture is ready.
