John David Zook learned the importance of responsibility and hard work while he grew up on his father’s farm. As he branched outside of farming the significance of those qualities became more apparent, and while working in landscaping and construction he quickly discovered the joys and the artwork of woodworking. In 2007 John David purchased a furniture business from a family friend who was retiring, and quickly saw potential in the existing product line and loyal customers. John David immediately sought the feedback of their new and existing customers and began developing new and innovative products to fit their needs. This open line of communication with their dealers remains a driving force behind Forest Ridge’s product design, and ensures that their lines of furniture evolve as tastes and trends change. Our work is a collaboration with our dealers and their customers, which develops long-term business relationships. Our Goal has always been to provide our furniture retailers with absolute quality in products and services. We will hold this statement true for every one of our customers. We love collaborating with our dealers to create new pieces for our line, and building custom pieces that make their customers dreams come true.
